2018 is a crucial year in the fight to protect a livable planet and to build a just and sustainable Fossil Free economy. Please join us for a special Fossil Free watch party--featuring speakers like Senator Bernie Sanders, Jacqui Patterson from the NAACP, Cherri Foytlin from BOLD Louisiana, and 350.org co-founder Bill McKibben—to discuss next steps for the climate justice movement across the country and here in Philadelphia!

*When: Wednesday, January 31, 7 to 9:30
Doors open at 7, livestream begins at 8. Feel free to come & leave any time.

*Where: City CoHo, 2401 Walnut Street, Center City Philadelphia
(Enter from the side door on the lower level, at 24th & Sansom.)

*What: 2017 saw constant assaults to our climate and communities from the Trump administration and their fossil fuel billionaire pals. But together we pushed back against every attack. Now we need to keep our eyes on the prize, and work harder than ever for a quick and just transition to 100% renewable energy. We’re launching the new year with hope, resolve, and exciting plans.

On January 31, the day after Trump’s first State of the Union address, movement leaders and community organizers will gather in DC to share their plan to win. Across the US, thousands of people will come together in community centers, living rooms, offices, and houses of worship to watch a live broadcast and to talk about organizing in their own communities.

We hope you’ll join us here in Philly! A light dinner will be provided. We’ll discuss important campaigns that are underway in Philadelphia and tell you about opportunities to get involved with 350 Philly this year.

*RSVP: Please let us know if you plan to come, so we can make sure we have enough food and chairs. Click here: https://actionnetwork.org/events/watch-party-climate-justice-organizing-in-2018
