Dr. Andrea Jacobs is a feminist educator, researcher, facilitator and coach with over 25 years of experience in the non-profit and educational sectors. Her work focuses on issues of equity broadly and the development resources and programs that address gender, LGBTQ and racial justice. Andrea is co-founder and partner at Rally Point for Collaborative Change, a consulting practice that focuses on working across difference to facilitate transformative change. Her coaching practice focuses on supporting social entrepreneurs as a strategic thought partner in organizational and project development. She also is trained in Theater of the Oppressed and Playback Theater and draws on her training to infuse her work with artistic and improvisational approaches to addressing social justice issues. She is a member of the advisory board of jGirls Magazine as well as the steering committee of the new SafetyRespectEquity Jewish Community Coalition. Andrea earned a doctorate in linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin where her research focused on the use of language as a tool for social and cultural change.
